| The tasks of the Chancellery of
the Netherlands Orders arise directly from the tasks of the Chancellor.
These tasks require a staff of 22 full-time employees.
The organisation consists of:
- The department Verification and Advice, which prepares
the advice of the Civil Honours Advisory Commission with respect to
nominations for an honour that have been submitted.
- The department Facility Affairs, whose tasks include registration and archiving with respect to honours
- The public relations official is directly under the director of the Chancellery.
The Chancellery of the Netherlands Orders also provides support for the Advisory Commission of the Military William Order.
